I was referring to Top 4 in general as an overall of the season before we started, I am old school finish top your champions, anything else....you lost.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Sure is!! We are doomed. Borthwick must go etc etc.

God created rugby so footballers have heros too

Healeys reference to Wasps subbing the prop was a subtle dig at previous Wasps antics , plus others such as Lambskin.

Definitely. Some of the usual suspects are starting to mong doom
Re: Wasps (A) - Sunday 9th January 2022 - 3pm
Yup - he’s up against it now. After a catastrophic run that now stretches to one consecutive loss, it’s hard to see how Borthwick can recover from this.BengalTiger wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 10:02 am
Now we will see how good Borthwick is, can he arrest the slide?
Dead man walking.

What I found incredibly annoying was that on the final scrum of the sequence we had in their right corner towards the end. Foley gave a warning saying next penalty is a yellow, then stood on the far side of the scrum for the subsequent one (when he has the linesman to officiate that side). Therefore, he missed Biyi Alo putting BOTH knees down which would have been a penalty and yellow card. Instead we had to play the ball out of the scrum and eventually lose it.....

Only as good as your last game, and it was a poor loss. Borths will be secretly fuming I'd betchris111 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 1:12 pmYup - he’s up against it now. “0nly as good as your last game” is nonsense in the context of a league format - you’re as good as the table suggests.
It’s actually a lazy and misleading cliche in any context - one poor performance (and I’d agree with you about yesterday’s performance) does not make you a poor team. Just as Bath have not suddenly become a good one!

Here's a stat and a half
Tommy Reffell 22 tackles 0 Missed
Montoya 19 tackles 1 missed
No wonder Reffell couldn't make his presence known at the breakdown he was doing all the tackling. Prob highlights the imbalance in the pack usually you would be wanting your 7 to make half that amount.

Please don't forget during the last touchline phases we had they intentionally flopped over the ball to stop us from picking & driving over the line & only got a penalty but no yellow after all the previous pens

You can say "we wus robbed' all day but IMO it was the indiscipline that shot the Tigers in both feet. I hope Jasper has finished writing out his 1000 lines: "I must remember to tackle with both arms, cos that is what they are there for when playing rugby" and we start to see the penalty count go down into low single figures.frenchtiger123 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 1:12 pm What I found incredibly annoying was that on the final scrum of the sequence we had in their right corner towards the end.
