Lloyd is a cracking player to watch. Would be someone I’d be very happy to see at Tigers

I get the non rugby reasons just seems crazy too me.
Snap. Poor quality second half. Gross image of Afoa’s ear looking like it was hanging off. Don’t think he could have come back on after that!

Can anyone ever remember Afoa scrummaging Corbisiero? It just doesn’t seem humanly possible 😂

Whenever I've read the Bris forum they've been slating him.

He definitely produced some good stuff tonight though.

Young player with a lot of skill but not always much consistency. He's had a tough start to the season but seems to be finding his feet now.

Bristol break 4 game Premiership losing run, Sale remain infuriatingly inconsistent. I believe for the latter recruitment in conjunction with departures (and there have been rumours of a South African exodus) is going to be crucial. We know how good George Ford is but come on .....
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Camera work on the one wing is dreadful but Edinburgh are some side. Ruthlessly efficient so far 31 gone 22-3

At breakdown, Marler get's over the ball and Simmonds arrives, lifts Marler's leg (above horizontal for me) and rolls, Hepburn lifts his other leg, also above horizontal and let's go (possibly a bit of downward push - open to interpretation) Marler lands on his head. No doubt a red card but could be argued Simmonds should also have gone, lifted leg and his roll/momentum contributed to Marler landing on his head.

Earlier handbags/niggle between Marler and Hepburn may have lit a slow burning fuse, Marler the WUM wins again....Hepburn loses control and gets himself sent off.

I always wonder why you cannot lift a leg in a maul but you can lift a leg at a ruck/breakdown, or it's at least accepted. Drive through a ruck/breakdown not lift and roll - not right in my book.

At least BT asked flatman about it at HT, had enough of listening to Monye's Quins love in.

That should definitely have been double red. Simmons continues with his judo throw even when Marler had been upended; arguably more force came from him!

If that was anyone other than a front row (stronger neck muscles for support) that could have been really really nasty! :smt011
