Seriously though it really would be good to know how Hanro is doing in particular, and hopefully there is not much wrong with Chessum, my new favourite player............except for Emily Scarratt obviously!!

I would like to thank Mike Brown for playing so well for Tigers today, on his 250th Prem appearance
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

He had a tough day at the office today, but if Freddie has as good a career as MB he will have done well........obviously he has the potential to be better, but having potential and fulfilling it is a different matter, let's hope he does!!WhitecapTiger wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 5:26 pmI would like to thank Mike Brown for playing so well for Tigers today, on his 250th Prem appearance
But Brown has been a fantastic player for Quins and England.

Yes at one stage Brown was in the conversation alongside the worlds best FB. If only he hadn’t have waited until after his England career to learn to pass and offloadSoggypitch wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 5:37 pmHe had a tough day at the office today, but if Freddie has as good a career as MB he will have done well........obviously he has the potential to be better, but having potential and fulfilling it is a different matter, let's hope he does!!WhitecapTiger wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 5:26 pmI would like to thank Mike Brown for playing so well for Tigers today, on his 250th Prem appearance

A gritty gusty performance ..when you consider that the last scrum that won the ball for our BP try had Dolly at 6 and Kiri at 7 it just shows the depth and belief this squad has got !!

I'm right with you on that. It was noticeable that during the warm-up Brown is as keen as ever. He's always been a prickly character, but he remains one of England's most consistent players over the last decade or so. Most fullbacks would have been tormented by Ford's kicking in those conditions.

Thought Wells, Martin, Steward and Porter were exceptional today. Genge played well as did many others but those 4 really stood out for me

Brown may have had an off day, but no-one was perfect in that first half maelstrom. I like the fact that we are relentless.

Agree. Youngs and Ford pinned Falcons into their own half and the Sinfield's kick chase made life very difficult for the Falcons fullback. There's not many fullbacks who'd have made something of what Brown got dealt, he really needed his halfbacks to offer more tactically and his wingers to work harder to support him as often he had little to work with.ancientmariner wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 6:00 pmI'm right with you on that. Brown has high standards so he won't like making errors and coming off second best Vs Steward but it was a tough day at the office for him.
