Different way of allocating the game's assumed score. Quite why Europe and England should differ is one of those strange things.

I guess it's a balance beween penalising sides who are open about Covid results and behave responsibly without creating an incentive to cheat the system and bag 2 points when you were likely to get a tonking.

4/2 is much fairer to me,a 5/0 is absolutely ridiculous if its just an unfortunate incident. There has still been breakthrough infections in fully vaccinated surroundings. That's not the fault of any club.
