This is our best XV in my opinion although you could argue Kelly for Scott or Martin for Chessum in fairness

If fit I'd take Liebenberg over Chessum and Martin, at present and with absolutely no disrespect to either of the younger guys, Hanro has earned his place in the starting XV and proven his worth over and over.

But how great to have such selection dilemmas?
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

I genuinely don’t think Ellis should be in the match day squad. Under perform, over play or just general distraction….not for me.

He can return and captain the side from Newcastle onwards if Borthwick sees fit but potentially far more to lose by playing him than not.

Nah for me he has to play and have a chance to prove his head is in the game, how I'd dearly like him to get a try too.

Guy has to be given a chance to prove his head is in the game for this one and there is NO better way to do that than vs Bristol
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I think we have to play Genge v Bristol. He’s one of the best in the country, so we need him. Genge and Ford in the 23 adds to the quality we had today v Connaught.

I'd go fitness dependent

Steward
Potter
Moroni
Kelly
Nadolo
Ford
Youngs
Genge (c)
Montoya
Cole
Wells
Synman
Liebenberg/Martin
Van Staden
Wiese

Dolly
Van Wyk
Heyes
Chessum
Reffell
JVP
Hegarty

I really want us to go full bore at this one and turn Bristol over.
