Sad but, I guess, just business. We have made an offer, Sale have made a bigger offer and as you reach the tail end of your carreer, you need to start filling the pension fund. That is, of course, unless the club did have a falling out with the family and then there was even less we could do.

Nice chunk of cap there to see what is on the market.

Honestly if true I will just say
He messed us hard when he left the first time since he was planned as Flood replacement
And this time we’ve built a team around him nearly.

its a professional sport and we have to accept that players will follow the money particularly in the later stages of their career. Good luck to GF if the story is true but I hope the grubby Fissler is wrong. I'd put my mortgage on this news coming from Sale, if true. George strikes me as the kind of personality who will be deeply disappointed that the news has leaked out this way

For Tigers, the freed up cap will give us plenty in the pot to top up the young breakthrough players contacts to keep them with us as well as leaving some spare to improve the squad further. I have no doubt SB and the club have plans already in place.

I also hope that SB trusts GF to give his all to the club for the rest of the season as I am sure he will

Freddie Burns can hold the fort whilst a long term replacement is found, I'd love to take Smith from the media darlings but I suspect he's tied up, maybe a return for a former Tiger in Jacob Umaga?

IMHO Umaga isn't the quality we require.
This still could be mischief making by Fissler!

Burns isn't starting flyhalf quality for where we want to be. Neither is Umaga.

I hope Ford is staying if not then a shortlist of something like (in no particular order);

1. Finn Smith
2. Joe Simmonds
3. Alex Lozowski
4. Otere Black
5. Brett Cameron

Who I think may be available for next season.

Lozowski would be a good addition, I like Simmonds but he isn't a goal kicker

No good luck from me,he could’ve gone to France or Japan if he wanted to top up his pension. Maybe he’s missing Daddy!

Funny how the rumour that popped up start of season, had this influence.
Personally I reckon if it's happened this quickly Ford was prob signed up before AJ even left wouldn't be surprised if it was why he left tbh.

This is a hefty speed bump in the road back to the top, nothing more.

I want a game manager
We have a pack that could give a lot of 10's a good ride.
If Ford goes the moment he starts if he does going out of form needs to be the moment we drop him.

For me would go with
1. Joe Simmonds
2. Alex Lozowski
3. Finn Smith
4. Bernard Foley
5. Matt Toomua

It doesnt matter why he's leaving (if indeed he is) but he will be with us for the rest of the season whether he goes or stays so wouldn't it be better to support him rather than saying such childish things?

He may want to play for his ‘home town club’ before going for a pension too up in France or Japan.

What would you rather people say?
Oh yes Ford leave to another premiership team brilliant.
Wonderful.

I don't get this attitude just as much as going harsh on a player.
I would love for this to be wrong.
