Starting as well.
What a great story for Tigers, comes here off the back of no contract offers from Cockers recommendation becomes IMO our form centre in both 12 and 13 and gets his rewards with a cap. Very good PR for Tigers recruitment.

Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021
I'd imagine Manu will be coming inside looking for the ball more than playing with chalk on his boots perhaps making overloads in the middle of the pitch. If he does play as a traditional winger (he did it back in Oz ages ago when Freddie Burns played fly half) i'd imagine he'll struggle as he did then although hes no slouch, he no longer has that extra yard of pace due to injuries.
EJ has always spoken about hybrid players so maybe it'll work albeit i have my doubts.
It'll be interesting to see how it works but it does look like a case of picking players and then working out how they can all fit positions.

Curry at 8 with 2 specialist 8s on the bench is a classic too! But I'm sure Dombrandt could play or has played at 6. All good fun I suppose and Eddie gets the attention he desperately seeksDeadlyDunc wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 1:36 pm I'd imagine Manu will be coming inside looking for the ball more than playing with chalk on his boots perhaps making overloads in the middle of the pitch. Interestingly, John Barclay has an interesting (and not very complimentary) viewpoint about the over intense Cokerill style regime at Edinburgh (and possibly now at England) so maybe that didn’t quite suit Matt. Our gain, though…..as long as Matt doesn’t decide to skedaddle back to Scotland any time soon!RagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 1:29 pm Matt Scott in the Scotland game v SA his first international game in over 4 years and it's against the champs and B&I tour winners

Will the English crowd be singing 'We Are Sailing' when Rodd Stuart come off the bench?

Think the players were stopping all this week.
To win is not as important as playing with style!
Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021
Great news for Matt and not before time.
Manu's selection on the wing is interesting. He's a powerful runner and I suspect a little quicker since he lost some of the weight. Jones must have been trialing this in training so we'll see who is right.
I've always thought that Ford at 10 with Farrell at 12 was a good combination giving the choice of kicking from 12 which I suspect is a part of the game plan.
Pleased that Smith is getting a start in a game where he should be tested.

Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021
They won’t be released until after the AIs now as the RFU has stopped the non-selected players being released to try and curb the covid related absences such as Farrell and Marler.
All players will remain in camp until after the SA game I believe now.

Anyone got some good ideas on parking near Twickenham? Haven’t been for a while. Any tips very much appreciated.

I'd like Martin to get some game time at lock.
Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021
Will be interesting to see if the Aussies get Manu running back and forth with kicks over his head. Take the wind out of him a bit and reduce the impact of him on crash ball. I know he is leaner, fitter and quicker now but still a potential tactic for the Aussies. Maybe Freddie will be asked to take a few steps over closer to Manu’s wing than May’s.
