Re: Bath - Home - 05th November 2021
For those worried about tonight, am wearing the new practice top I got for my birthday, not particularly of note apart from the fact the only game I've not worn it this year (was in the wash) was the Scarlets warm up game...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Will George be in a taxi at 7pm tonight heading for a reunion with Eddie. I really hope not but if he is I hope he takes a very big slice of humble pie for Eddie to consume.

Why would they call up George when they have got Furbank....!!??
Dont all cry at once..
Eddie Jones has made a few massive cock ups, this is up there with the best..

Surely, Tonga is exactly the sort of game that you can try things like this. EJ knows what GF can do. A win for England at home is the only realistic result whoever plays in the backline.
Re: Bath - Home - 05th November 2021
I’m no EJ cheerleader, but not sure how you put this one down to him. Smith’s injury apparently occurred before he arrived with England - and I doubt even Eddie’s unconventional methods include giving OF COVID….

Re: Bath - Home - 05th November 2021
With the World Cup fast approaching, EJ has to know if Furbank is a genuine option at 10 in an international game, outside of the many minutes he has there in training. Otherwise, there’s no point taking him in the World Cup squad.

Re: Bath - Home - 05th November 2021
it was Eddie's choice to only have 2 fly halves in the squad when he intends to use Farrell at 12 that makes even less sense

SK 88 on the unoffy had a good call with Morgan Meredith? Different haircut but looks very similar.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Nov 05, 2021 9:20 amno clueLekkerTigers wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 11:47 pm https://youtu.be/h2zUTfRNkfc

slightly nervous being this heavy favourites
Re: Bath - Home - 05th November 2021
Me too, I expect a win and in spite of what everyone says in public, I think this will be one of those games where the result is all that counts. We can take a metaphorical breath and move on once we have the W.

lovely little dig from SB aimed at Bath in his pre match interview about "putting things on club websites" about absent players
