Right, am I missing something. Eddie wants to regen the squad for the 2023 world cup so leaves out Mako, Billy, Jamie G and Ford but still includes Marler and Youngs and adds an uncapped 31 year centre?

Last season, Dolly was playing for Coventry in the Championship and, since then, has made just seven appearances for us.. talk about a rapid rise to the top!

Ford has the control under pressure that Smith lacks, as exposed at Sale. EJ has hardly ever let Ford play his natural game, just doomed him to the kick, kick, kick. I'd like to think SB has shook off that mentality.

Well, speaking as a Tigers fan, I am delighted he'll be playing for us more, but v disappointing for him no doubt.
