Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm
Next up followed by 1 tough home games v Sale and the big Derby game v Saints
Some knocks
Personally would be looking at
1. Van Wyk, 2. Montoya, 3. Heyes
4. Wells, 5. Chessum, 6. Martin, 7. Van Staden, 8. Liebenberg
9. JVP, 10. Burns
12. Socino, 13. Scott
11. Nadolo, 14. Saumaki, 15. Hegarty/Murimurivalu
16. Dolly, 17. Whitcombe, 18. Leatigaga
19. Henderson, 20. Wiese
21. Wigglesworth, 22. Ford/Hegarty, 23. Van Wyk
I feel like one of the back rowers need a rest was tempted to pick Hanro but with Genge likely out want him captaining.
If Potter was just cramp would slot him into the 23.
Moroni is on Holiday so looking doubtful.

Worcester have just received a fearful bashing from Exeter. Rebound or still in their shells?

Re: Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm
Moroni is back in the UK and was at the game today. I think we might see Montoya and Van Staden start next week with Moroni and Wiese on the bench
Re: Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm
I’d keep the continuity for the next 4 league games as there are then 2 British Cup games and our week end off.
Worcester are just getting 4-5 very good players back into the side and great as it is to be winning Worcester will be a dangerous team to play against and in recent times we’ve had some very poor results/ performances against them.
The backs need to be able to unlock defences soon otherwise we will be found out!
Tigers putting out what would be considered a weaker squad by Worcester fans, coaches and players would galvanise their efforts which will already be increased due to their result v Exeter.
For me personally I’d only make one or two changes unless injuries dictate otherwise. JVP could do with more game time with Fordy who didn’t play much at the end of last season:if he isn’t injured Genge will want to play as will all players especially now we are back to winning ways.

1.van Wyk 2.Dolly 3.Heyes 4.Wells 5.Green 6.Chessum 7.van Staden 8.Liebenberg (c)
9.JvP 10.Ford 11.Nadolo 12.Socino 13.Scott 14.Saumaki 15.Steward
16.Montoya 17.Genge/Whitcombe 18.Leatigaga 19.Henderson 20.Wiese 21.Wigglesworth 22.Burns 23.Murimurivalu
Rotating Martin, Reffell and Coley after 4 starts on the bounce. Liebenberg and Dolly have also started every game so far but harder to rotate them with Montoya and Wiese only just returned.
It'd be a boost if Potter is available as he's our best winger to man mark Duhan.
After 4 starts for Cole I think Heyes will start so I'm really looking forward to seeing him against Sutherland in the scrum. It will be a good test of where Heyes is against a strong international scrummaging loosehead.

Re: Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm
I'd agree with those looking to rotate out the flankers. If that's possible that would be a good option. Those guys have played a lot so far this season and a week off to freshen them up would be a good idea.
If Heyes is fully fit there should be no reason for Cole not to take a week off. Sutherland is a very good loosehead but we need to give Dan a breather after a lot of minutes in the first four rounds.

Good to see you back Scott1.. think Genge and Porter might be injured sadly as they both went off yesterday

Re: Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm
Be an interesting selection, need to give minutes to players returning but would be very much targeting the Sale home game. Still a strong team and one which can go to Worcester and win, I’d go for:
Van Wyk Montoya Heyes
Wells Snyman
Chessum Wiese MVS
JVP Burns
Socino Moroni
Saumaki Hegarty Muri
Dolly Whitecombe Leatigaga Henderson Liebenberg Wigglesworth Scott Nadolo
Van Wyk Montoya Heyes
Wells Snyman
Chessum Wiese MVS
JVP Burns
Socino Moroni
Saumaki Hegarty Muri
Dolly Whitecombe Leatigaga Henderson Liebenberg Wigglesworth Scott Nadolo

Re: Worcester (A) 16th October - 3pm
I'd go with
Leatigaga Montoya (c) Heyes
Henderson Synman
Martin Chessum Van Staden
JVP Burns
Socino Scott
Saumaki Steward Murimurivalu/Van Wyk
Dolly
Van Wyk
Hurd/Cole
Wells
Reffell
Wigglesworth
Hegarty
Moroni
Think Liebenberg as he's played every min so far of the season needs a break more than the others in the back row, but I'd give Reffell a rotation to the bench. Chessum and Martin both start in the back row in my team so I'd play whichever is more comfortable at 8 there.
Dolly also deserves a breather and I'd start Montoya, plus make him skipper in my line up (I'm assuming Genge injured)
I'd rest Nadolo on the artificial and Potter likely out, so I'd give Kini a start if he's fit (someone on here suggested he may have a finger injury, so if not fit I'd play Kobus)
Ford I'd give a rest to and bring back JVP to the lineup along with YBY having a full week off.
Centres as is with the ban, Porter injury, Taute not back, I'd give Moroni a bench spot.
Hurd, if fit (he's not played since going off injured in preseason), on the bench to give Cole a breather too.
Hegarty covers 10 & 15 on the bench for me (Moroni covers wing too usefully), getting him a few min before the AI's where he may be needed (especially if Kini is injured)
Leatigaga Montoya (c) Heyes
Henderson Synman
Martin Chessum Van Staden
JVP Burns
Socino Scott
Saumaki Steward Murimurivalu/Van Wyk
Dolly
Van Wyk
Hurd/Cole
Wells
Reffell
Wigglesworth
Hegarty
Moroni

Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
