All this talk of Red wine has made me have a “small” glass now.. I am sure that Robespierre, old Hob, Noggs, or Pellsey (or anyone to be honest) can assist with this query. How long should you put a bottle of red in a Decanter or Carafe before drinking? I heard 5 to 6 hours??
As for the game.. I honestly believe this is not a false dawn. We looked solid and our defensive line was immense. I think we will strangle them and then wear them down before running home a 4 try bonus point win…very cagey first 20 to 30 mins though.

There is never any points for 2nd place...

Thought I was on a Tigers Supporters Form, but maybe it's a wine recommendation site.

I think, Dr Flashman, that your game analysis will prove correct. As to your other question; I have never decanted having convinced myself, in pre-dishwasher days, that the often curious shapes made getting them properly clean difficult.
And Wardy, this is just pre-match chat - to calm the nerves.

It depends on the wine. The less mature it is, the tougher it will be so the more oxygen it needs. An older wine should be decanted and served pretty much straight away.Dr H Flashman MBE wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 5:25 pm All this talk of Red wine has made me have a “small” glass now.. For ordinary day to day wines, I never decant them. I open the bottle and leave it for 15/20 minutes before pouring. Those that I do decant I try to leave for an hour or two before pouring - if I am patient!northerntiger wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 7:29 pmIt depends on the wine. Not sure how 12t wasn't done for taking Ford out regardless of if he held him he wasn't in the ruck

2 games in a row we've seen some of the worst forward passes I've seen from us

How on earth was there not a penalty try there!

There were at least 2 penalty try offenses from what I saw, absolutely baffling

How was Ackerman sliding studs up not dangerous play? So much for player welfare....

I only caught the last 5 minutes of the first half and was pleased to see them with a reasonable lead until their 2nd try. Needs tightening in the second half.

We’re looking the better side but simple mistakes are keeping Gloucester in the game and the shed noisy!
