Attacking options seemed a bit limited. Let's hope regular season is better, or it's going to be a LOOONG season.

I'm not massively worried by that, new defensive system will pretty much always be leaky at first and plenty of players getting their 1st minutes, 90% sure one of the Scarlets tries had a blatant knock in the buildup so would have probably been a win with a TMO

Too many errors but Scarlets looked sharper with ball in hand. Big weeks training coming before Exeter.

Deflates the balloon a bit. If the ref ignores over runs and blocking a week on Sat we will get flattened.

Overall, I thought there were lots of good individual efforts but a lack of cohesion. We seemed (mostly) to know what we were doing in defence but less so in attack.

Wasn’t particularly well reffed, removed all tempo from the game.

Reffell and Scott the standouts. Martin brilliant in defence, needs to do more ball in hand for me. Couple of silly knock ons. Backs looked blunt, but here’s hoping we’ll be better ‘set’ come a week on Sat.

Didn’t think there was the 11k that was claimed Vs Dragons, but seemed even fewer there tonight. Wonder if we’ll get close to a full house first up…

I will have to re-watch but my initial reaction was that we didn't make as much use of the new 50:22 rule compared to the last game? Maybe I am wrong.

We didn't from what I saw whereas Scarlets had a couple of crackers

For me
Good
Reffell - Dominated the breakdown
Genge - Carried well looked for support
Scott - excellent carrying
Martin - Some big hits also does some hard runs but prone to knocking on
Liebenberg - Really good all rounder

Bad
Lineouts
Steward isn't a winger
I couldn't tell what our gameplan was we didn't really attack, but we didn't really seem to be overly aggressive with the lineout attacks either.
Defence not good on the whole very good linespeed but trailing runners ended up giving too much space once Scarlets did get some meters

Props Genge and Cole
Hooker tough one Youngs and Dolly have struggled, it will be Youngs due to experience though
Hopefully Wells will be fine, Personally I think Chessum deserves a start but for his first prem game Exeter might not be ideal if not I would be tempted to start Henderson due to familiarity
Martin, Reffell and Liebenberg should be fine
Youngs and Ford kicked well but we never really tried anything on the whole
Scott has too start, either at 12 with Porter 13 or 13 with Kelly (My preference is the former)
Saumaki and Potter are the two wingers too show the ability to make a linebreak and keep going on this preseason form
Steward nailed down 15.

Our first try came from a peach of a kick by Ford.

Missed that try,my mistake. But from what I watched Scarlets executed it better especially one from their scrumhalf straight off turnover ball.
