Well, this isn’t good, even for pre-season. No structure, lots of errors and discipline poor. Chiefs next week eh ?

Lots of changes and things got a bit disjointed. We're trying things and going through our playbook a bit as well. Hopefully we're just blowing the rust off.westwinds31 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 8:22 pm Well, this isn’t good, even for pre-season. No structure, lots of errors and discipline poor. Glad we got Reffell off and resting ahead of next weekend he was excellent.

I’m on about before the changes with what looked like a starting 15 for next week. I’m not sure we’re trying things. We’ve had opportunities to try stuff but have kicked for posts instead.

We'll see come next week.
Been a awful game though, Both teams and the ref stopping any momentum.

Chiefs by 11-20 from what I've seen of this game. Awful camerawork though, very hard to watch.

May be a pre season but leaking tries due to missed tackles is simply not good enough.

Still expect them to be more settled than us though. Let's hope we can take it late and hope match fitness might see us throughRagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 8:38 pm Will be interesting.

Saracens lost 33 - 3 today at home.
I just find it hard to take pre-season seriously since most teams play at 75%

Only saw the second half, but it didn't fill me with confidence!!
Hopefully once they get into the pressure cooker if the season proper they will tighten up.

Yup and stand out players are often subbed early to protect them from injury.RagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 8:43 pm Saracens lost 33 - 3 today at home.

Good run out and a nice test to knock some rust off ahead of next weekend.
Scott played really well, Reffell was our only threat over the ball but what a threat and Ford looked good but I'm not sure he's 100%.
