Not seen the Lions game.. why did Wiese come off? Was it tactical or injury?

The overriding thing for me was the dreadful officiating all round!

So Van Staden and Wiese come through unscathed? Did they play well?

Looked like an exciting game but that’s based purely on seeing the late drama and sadly the Boks winner!

Weise still has the odd error and rush of blood in him but defensively he hits very hard. Had no problems smashing Vunipola and Furlong back. MVS didn't get as much gametime this test

I thought there was some very poor stupid play by the Lions, again poor in the air, poor box kicking, 4 men jumping for the same ball getting in each others way and resulting in a try down the wing because no one was marking the wing, bit like little boys playing football everyone going for the ball. Scrum poor again, out muscled. Yes glad its over Lions were no match for their physicality. Welcome home, hope no serious injuries.
