Ellis Genge,Sinckler is only there through injury. That's lines 2 and 3 sorted

And Genge is still a better player than Mako, unfortunately his name carries more weight then his performances, he should be behind both Genge and Marler for England let alone the Lions

Marler about Genge “I’ve got to complement him, he’s in my position and he’s so much better than me and so many others”

They are definitely our 2 best. Time to put Mako out to pastureJimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 5:15 pm Marler about Genge “I’ve got to complement him, he’s in my position and he’s so much better than me and so many others”

Re: England v Canada - 10th July 2021
Thought Kelly carried strongly. Steward not really tested, but showed excellent basics again. Heyes scrummaged well, and he and Wells were part of a totally dominant pack. Unlikely Wells will get more caps though. Great experience for him, regardless, and just reward for his consistency.
Genge clearly loving the leadership role. I really hope we lean into that going forward. Canada could not handle his power today.

Kelly played his part. It seemed to be truck up the ball from 19 and recycle quickly be presenting the ball. He did this repeatedly for others to shine. He does have a relaxed running style and I think he needs to look a bit keener if he is to be a part of an Eddie Jones team but I think he will be really good for Tigers and could for England in the future. I would be surprised if any of these Tigers other than Genge are in the Autumn Internationals though.

Wings have to be able to defend too.
