Irish press are discussing the possibility of Dan Kelly playing in the England A game as they seem concerned about him not appearing in the U20 squad for Ireland.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

It’s looking like Heyes may miss out on England first team selection. If I was Eddie, I’d be telling them to cap anyone who may potentially be an England player and is able to represent another country. Heyes, Kelly, Rodd are the three that immediately spring to mind.

Sounds like a slow news week, the story seems to originate from the fact he didn't attend any of the training squads which makes sense as he had training and games for Tigers.

I wouldn't put it last Eddie to use the A game to secure the future of several talents.

Tying up players in a A fixture is a win/win for Eddie, he doesn’t have to play them for the full international team but then means England won’t be loosing players like Redpath to Scotland.

You forget just how young Dan Kelly is . He’s quite a specimen physically for his age and over the next couple of years If he develops his skill set he could be a real player for tigers and England . 12 is a position England have struggled with for some time . Obviously Farrell plays there and Manu when fit . Hope all the boys go well tomorrow. What a great chance to see 7 of our boys representing their countries at Welford road

Kelly’s got that nice leg drive in contact ,gives his teammates that extra split second to get there which always helps.

Some elements of Twitter (naming no names) at Dan Kelly turning his back on Ireland.

He’s English, get over it!

Wonder if Louis Lynagh might end up in the revised squad after the weekend?

Would he go against potentially playing for Australia though?

Brought up here and played for England U20's, obviously Australia will have its draw for him but Eddie might act quick considering his rise in stock in the last 6 months
