That makes me feel quite nostalgic to the 'good old days' of Tigers. Getting the club suspension in first in the hope of a more lenient official ban.

Suspect this is tip of the iceberg from last weekend.

I suppose it depends on how fit Montoya is after his injury.

I am puzzled why the hearing did not take place this week. Presumably a way of pushing any ban into next season which Tigers have tried to negate by voluntarily starting the ban this week. If that move is unsuccessful we will have extended his ban by a match. If they consider the ban to have started some of the weeks will have been served over the summer.

I suspect T Youngs would be playing if Montoya not available.

Smart move.

Precisely, get part of a ban out the way while we know we have Montoya and Clare fit.

Also worth noting that the 2nd week of the ban likely to be vs Jersey too.

Just realised we now have a new side affect of the delta variant of COVID.
My evidence is Mr P Lam, The officiating team and the review panel. And to investigate an easy sanction against TY.

Not sure about Henry at 15 with Steward on the wing, I'd rather have had Moroni or Kini on the wing starting of that 23

Can't say as I understand why we would play Steward on the wing and Henry at fullback when we have Moroni and Kini on the bench but as ever I trust in Steve

Honestly never really been a huge fan of Henry at fullback, especially if it means Fred is pushed out to the wing. What is wrong with putting Kini at 14 or 15? he has literally played international rugby at 15 and his best rugby for us on the wing. I love the things Steve has done for us so far, but why put players out of position in an already disjointed back line that can’t string 3 passes together.

Very interested to see how Ellis Genge captains the side.Certainly capable of leading by example , and more.....
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....
