I thought Barnes was a bit generous to Exeter when they cleared people out way past the ruck, apart from that Bristol can’t have many complaints, they really missed the physicality of Hughes and Radrada in my opinion and just couldn’t get much go forward.

Good result for Exeter , but would not read too much into the game in terms of psychological advantage....
A definite tailing off in quality between first and second half (imho) and Bristol by their nature and make up are capable of so much better.
Have to give Exeter credit however.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

That bears team was missing arguably their 3 best players in
Sheedy, Hughes and Radradra (Randall and Uren are on par with each other)

Would also have Naulago starting over Niyi. Earl would be in the 23.
Looked to me like Lam was keeping a lot of cards hidden to Chiefs still.

Vermeulen had a impressive game
Made 51 meters (8 less than Simmonds)
Made 16 tackles (Nearly twice as much as Simmonds)
Hardly any mentions of him though.

South Africa really are spoilt for choices in the back 5 of the pack it's crazy.

LI v Quins 12:30. Here’s hoping for a Quins TBP win to keep the pressure on Chiefs 👍
