same, I'm sure someone with more knowledge of the scrum and lineout will point out why I'm wrong but he just doesn't seem to have as much impact as Wells or even Henderson

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE VI: The Return of the Burns
I think Green fills a good role.
30 years old (31 next season), ex academy lad who has come back.
Even if he might not be say a starting lock I bet he would be very good to have in training etc.
I feel our previous problems have been that we put so much money in the starting XV, that the club forgot that having quality people to train against/with is just as important.
Borthwick has really stressed this season with recruitment, it isn't always about the player on the pitch they have to have that attitude in training, and I reckon Green especially would be the type of player who helps our lineout and maul practice.
Also Freddie Burns had a motm display for his team winning the Top challenge league

wonder if there is a chance we will see Freddie before seasons end with Diaz Bonilla leaving early?

Why would Bonilla be leaving early?

if he's not going to get a look in, at least in part due to foreign player restrictions why would he stay?

Borthwick said him and Wigglesworth were helping was helping with attack coaching after Rob Taylor left.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sun Apr 04, 2021 12:16 amif he's not going to get a look in, at least in part due to foreign player restrictions why would he stay?
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

With the youth and new signings coming through suspect we won’t see much, or anything of Marfo. Seems a bit of an odd addition, if only short term. Also, wonder how long Wallace and Taute have left on their contracts?

I'm hoping they will both be with us for a while.
I reckon Taute could transition into a coach in time, and Wallace is only 30.
I think it's pretty important having depth at 7 in the prem and with no clear 7 coming up through the academy just yet he's become a important piece IMO. (Missed a trick with Tabbett I reckon, Ilione is playing 7 for england U20's so maybe he's view as a 7 going forward?)

If Tebbatt keeps developing well I'd hope the club will bring him back in. Similar to Henderson, Manz and Chessum. Hopefully they are keeping tabs on Ollie Smith v2 as well.
Kit Smith looks to have the skill set of a 7 to me.
Did Sam Eveleigh stay in rugby? I always rated him in the U18s and he looked a natural leader but was never the biggest.
