On the Dickson scale, it was barely off the stop
To win is not as important as playing with style!

In the stats does letting someone run through a whopping great hole count as a missed tackle? As an attempt wasnt made....... If you see what I mean?

That was a much better result than I hoped for, exciting stuff, Newcastle will not be looking forward to coming back to Welford Road next weekend.

I thought the ref was decent today, got most things right IMOWayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 10:52 pmOn the Dickson scale, it was barely off the stop
2nd week in a row we haven’t contested turnovers but it’s not helping our penalty count.
I thought Mike McCarthy got it right and if we can sort the discipline out and cut the penalties we’ll be a tough team to play against

The Dickson scale ,I like that! That’s our go to measurement now for refs performancesWayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 10:52 pmOn the Dickson scale, it was barely off the stop

I think the players will enjoy playing with that heart at a full WR. Tigers fans will leave their ears ringing. Weise especially I can see as someone who just feeds off the crowd, smiling ear to ear as he maraudes over the top of the poor souls tasked with tackling him.aslongaswebeatsaints wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 10:17 pm Utterly bonkers game - loved it.
If Borthwick hasn’t won me over before, he has now. We haven’t shown that depth in the squad for a very long time.
Imagine watching that at a full WR.

A packed WR would have loved that ! The roar would have been deafening. Wiese is a cult hero already. It must be so good to be part of this squad, you can see the desire and commitment to never give up. So pleased that we’ve got experience alongside youth who are fronting up. It’s a long time since we’ve been able to say that we have depth in each position. We’re nowhere near the finished article and that’s frightening for the other clubs.

Another cussed and aggressive win, pulling away at the end with that young front row on the pitch was great. Welcome to welford road Hurd and Dolly!
Is lavinini now at best our 4th choice lock? Henderson is becoming a great operator at line out.
Think mcphillips' turn around in form is a major illustration of the increased confidence in the squad and a credit to the coaches. The last 18 months he has been a rabbit in the headlights at times, so to see him back himself with that run at the end was awesome.

Wells has to be in Eddie's thoughts for me ,I think he's better than Hill and Ewels

Front row 1st and 2nd half did really well...Clare immense, Heyes put in a great shift and cramped as a result, De Bruin solid, despite a couple of scrum pens, Whitcombe lots more to see and all good, Hurd scrummed really well but not as much in the open but really promising ...backs linked well and Weise isn’t human

Wells really does give me Slater vibes.
Really has stepped into his shoes this season.
Question is do we stick with that team for the semi?
Considering we had a didn't start XV of
1. Genge, 2. Youngs, 3. Cole, 4. Wells, 5. Green, 6. Chessum, 7. Reffell, 8. Liebenberg
9. Wigg, 10. Ford, 11. Nadolo, 12. Taute, 13. Kelly, 14. Murimurivalu, 15. Steward

Ref was fine called what he saw, TMO let him down with the 2 key incidents, the forward pass for one of their try and not calling the Penalty Try for tackling Cam Henderson round the neck
