Completely agree Traveller. Couldn’t have said it better myself.Traveller wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 7:43 pm Given that it’s less than a year ago, when there used to be endless circular debate on here (and I was part of it), about who reporting to who. Will Murphy pick the team, as Director of Rugby if Borthwick is Head Coach. Is it the rugby committee, that has the final say on recruitment? Who will be in ultimate charge on the field? What’s the difference between Ged Glynn’s previous role and his new role, and where does that fit in relation McGinity? What does Simon Cohen have responsibility for and what doesn’t he? Etc. It’s refreshing (in what is a relatively simple business) to now have clarity around structure, function and purpose. Borthwick is in absolute charge of what happens on the rugby pitch. Everything else is directed in relatively straight forward terms to support that. That leads to accountability. No more picking a defence coach because “he lives locally, is available and knows the club.” I’ll trust the people in charge to have chosen wisely. Humility and patience.

I would urge people to look up Sanaila Waqa's try in the top league this weekend, he'd be a great project 2nd row

He's 25, so 5 years older than Henderson and Chessum, 6 years older than Martin.
To my mind he's a bit old to bring in as a project as we have enough good locks. I would prefer us to go all out for a International standard replacement for Lavannini.

Looks like the PE teacher running around with the ball being chased by the kids.. the guy is huge! Oh what a signing he would be!
Oakham lad born and bred, Tigers season ticket holder who is enjoying steady progression back towards the good old days!

I'm guessing his size is exaggerated by playing in Japan?OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 7:49 amLooks like the PE teacher running around with the ball being chased by the kids.. the guy is huge! Oh what a signing he would be!
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

According to Google he's 2.03m so about 6'8"loretta wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 8:52 amI'm guessing his size is exaggerated by playing in Japan?OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 7:49 amLooks like the PE teacher running around with the ball being chased by the kids.. the guy is huge! So although exaggerated he is still a beast.
I'm led to believe the team he's playing for is not in the top division in Japan so I'd definitely want to see more than the one try to sig him
