I’m sorry but that is criminal. We haven’t had a single maul go well today and we get a penalty 5m out and kick the LBP into touch! Terrible call. Tap and go and keep up the momentum

Him on one wing with the power of Nadolo or a Porter type and Steward at 15 has a really nice balance

Another game where we should've gotten a LBP.
IMO Borthwick got selections wrong with that backrow. Thom Smith (If fit) would've been better at 8.

???? How could he pick him if he wasn’t fit then?RagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 2:58 pm Another game where we should've gotten a LBP.

We deserved something from that game. Effort from the lads was unbelievable. Cannot fault that. A bit more clinical edge, not missing kicks and we could have done something there. Shame but improvement is definitely there

Agreed but all things considered that was a pretty big improvement on our recent performances at Ashton GateRagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 2:58 pm Another game where we should've gotten a LBP.

nice impact from Simmons another Maul butchered, with so many second rows on you'd think that would be on area we could still be effective.
Another away game where we have barely layed a glove on the opposition team selection said it all we weren't interested in winning the game.
I expected more than this this term, we aren't playing midweek games, this was pathetic from the management, credit to the players who defended well but they weren't put in a position to succeed

Penalty 5m out and we kick to the corner! Tap and go and we likely leave with the LBP. Maul didn’t get going all afternoon yet we kept trying it to no avail.RunTigerRun wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 2:59 pm We deserved something from that game. Effort from the lads was unbelievable. Locks are great for Maul defence generally, but there is a reason why locks don't score tries from mauls, they are more effective blocking the defensive locks than the actual lower body driving the hookers and backrowers specialise in.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 3:01 pm nice impact from Simmons another Maul butchered, with so many second rows on you'd think that would be on area we could still be effective.

This team also had an International Hooker, Lock, Fly Half, Centre and Full back.
It wasn't exactly that bad a team on paper.
