Give him his due, he's been a great workhorse for club and country. But he's played in an era when the Lions have been spoilt for choice in the second row. I can't really see him being selected ahead of Itoje, Lawes, Jones, Ryan, Gray. I'd put him in the next group, vying with Hill, Ball, Beirne and Henderson.
2nd rows are all about partnerships, Itoje & Rettallick are wonderful players but the bloke next to them makes their job easier to do the flashier stuff.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Should be Itoje/Ryan. The Warrior should be nowhere near the test 23!

does by chance, England's starting tighthead play for Wasps? Dayglo blaming Genge for a penalty when the 3 folded in on himself on the other side of it

The top players do the grunt as well as the extras.

Yes,Itoje and Retallick both do the rough stuff very well too
