Is he planning to play for every Premiership side?

“I would like to thank Harlequins for agreeing to release me early from my contract to be able to join Worcester," he said.

"To continue my career in the Premiership and play regular rugby means is the right move for me and my family at this time."

Isn’t that what he said when he bailed on Sale?

The Rugby Paper (24/1/21) states that Paul Gustards initial preference in terms of a coaching role would be based abroad.Do not necessarily think we are talking Wales in this case :smt001
Apparently a change of scenery and lifestyle whilst his family are still young appeals.
Personally would not blame him , and hope he finds a better environment than The Stoop - which seemingly did not suit either party :

Booooooooo Bill Mata extends with Edinburgh! Was hoping - if Taufua was to leave - that we could tempt him south!

Chris Ashton's big selling point was always his ability to track line breaks. Sadly no head coach wants that from their wingers any more and Ashton has never been the best with the boot or in the tackle.

Didn't adapt to the changes in the game and has been left behind.

In fairness to him, I listened to his interview on Rugby Union Weekly and he was quite open and honest about it. He's 34 and wants to make the most of the time he's got left, rather than just sitting on his backside playing very little and creaming the contract. So if he's surplus to requirements he asks if he can move on. But then again as Ugo Monye said to him the issue is that he's not very good at judging where he will be able to fulfil that wish!

After incidents like dragging Alesana by his hair into touch and his run-in with Manu, I would have been extremely surprised if anyone who remembers his days at Saints would want him anywhere near Tigers.

How rude of him to get punched in the face by Manu. He and a certain police officer should never be allowed near Welford Road for having the audacity to be assaulted by a former player.
