Not a great weekend all round for EPCR if you look at the games in what should be Europe’s premier competition

Scarlets vs Toulon - Toulon pull out because of COVID
La Rochelle vs Bath, Glasgow vs Lyon, Toulouse vs Exeter - Cancelled because of COVID

And looks like all the English teams are resting their England players with I think Northampton set to send out the kids to Leinster.

Rumour has it EPRC offered a postponement till Sunday (ie still play on the same weekend) with a full retests for all players
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Castres 10 Newcastle 9 HT

Impressive first half by Newcastle (judging by the score, not watching it)

Newcastle looking impressive despite having a largely changed side out.

Winning away to Castres 14-10

Good win by Newcastle, some pretty questionable calls by the referee.. glad it’s not just against us! Obonna looks like a great player, very dangerous. Wilson looked sharp. Will be a very tough match for us next weekend

Chiefs fans saying if they go out the competition whoever wins it can’t be classed as the real champs! Is this the same set of fans that accepted last seasons premiership title? 🤔

Watching the Saints game and they could get a bit of a hiding. The teams are a complete mismatch on paper. I know that it’s not played on paper but Leinster have a team packed with Internationals.
Good luck to them but makes me kind of glad (and a little sad) that we are in the 2 tier cup (sorry about the use of word tier) as we would get some hidings and ruin any team building and confidence.
There is never any points for 2nd place...

Both should be going for HIA tbf. Any head clash should be automatic HIA imo

Now Ringrose has gone off! Obviously feeling the effects so begs the question why didn’t he go off in the first place?! Poor all round
