Not seen the game but the right ups and folks comments point to a positive step forward, long may that continue, great result.

Was it me or did we seem to attack the blindside a large amount of the time?
Wonder if it was something the analyst guys picked up on
or might it be a new gameplan

Just seemed to me the blindside on both sides was targeted multiple times in 1 phase repeatedly.
Worked really well also.

Agreed, I thought it was something Wiggs was definately looking for throughout but in fairness he didn’t over play it to a point where it was predictable.

The big positive generally was that a lot of the basics / foundations were of a quality but there were also loads of areas to improve (as per recent seasons there were far too many times that forwards were taking the ball static instead of at pace etc) which makes it all extremely exciting along with the players to come into the mix too.

Gloucester weren’t great, in fact they were poor, but we won’t know if we made them play poorly or if they had an off day until we (hopefully!) do the same to others in the weeks to come.

It used to be that I believed the phrase “you are never as bad as you think you are after a defeat, nor as good as you are after a win” but the last few seasons made me rethink the former, however, I think it is probably true of the latter, for the time being.

Said it a few times now, he reminded me of Jono Ross for Sale. Looks a very good signing.

Having rewatched the footage, it does look like Green was in the area, but there’s no footage of him actually having a grab at Hanson’s jewels, I think it’s more likely to be the bottom of the jersey.

Enjoyed that game, plenty of positives and plenty to work on, Glaws were no mugs, we put them under pressure and got a good result.

Really impressed with his debut. Looked like he'd been part of the team for years rather than weeks. I hope he can be as consistent as Jono Ross. Early signs are we've got a good un and he deserved to be voted man of the match by the fans which I'm sure he'll have enjoyed.

Something was clearly going on between those two the holding of the shirt/shorts from Green looked pretty aggreviated. I don't think Green was going all pirate and grabbing treasure, I think Hansen's reaction would have been far more violent if that was the case.

It was pretty pathetic pair of yellow cards tbh, almost as daft as one in the Wales v Georgia game.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Good start to the season.
Good result from a good performance.

However it was only Glaws do let's keep our expectations at a sensible level.
