Re: GP Round 1 thread
If I have to watch Maunder wasting half my life time at the back of a 4 man crocodile, a lot longer than the 5 second allowed, I might give up watching Chiefs. It's just boring. Referees should be taking a lot stronger line on this.
Give blood, play rugby!!

Sale 10-0

Sale 17-0 Saints carrying on where they left off last season sadly

So, I know they're good players but the BT Sport Simmons bros love-in does get on my nerves!

When I look at Saints I see Tigers when Mauger was in charge.

Time for a rule change & proper enforcement of the current laws.
To win is not as important as playing with style!
Re: GP Round 1 thread
I agree, at the end of the day a hat-trick and a Number 8 gassing a winger is still good (don’t get me wrong) but it’s really irritating when they’re just being praised purely for putting pressure on Eddie Jones. Remember BT Sport rubbing their noses up Armand’s rear-end? His form fell off considerably since 2018 and hasn’t really recovered since.

Frustrating by Quins, yeah okay arguably Ridley gave Exeter too much purchase with some decisions but they were just completely unable to string anything together and ultimately they were on the backfoot in the scrum which never helped, neither did Care’s flapping out and needless no look passes.

The TV love in with certain players goes way back think of some of the nonsense Barnes & Morris used to spout on Sky.

Small back row (Or if they have a unit it's a lock playing in it).voice of the crumbie wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 9:36 pmRagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 9:24 pm When I look at Saints I see Tigers when Mauger was in charge.

Attack seems to rely on moments from some players.
Usually just goes long and lateral and against a aggressive defence leads to it getting pushed back.
Prone to stupid errors.
Like they have moments but most of the time it seems like it's mainly down to the opposition errors.
I just don't get Boyds recruitment.

No surprises really.. 5 points for Exeter and Sale, nothing for Saints and Quins. Early days though
