Let's hope that's the end of it, 10 days does give them time but they still need to train.

Damn shame. Really looking forward to that game. Clash of styles should make for a cracking final.

A precedent has already been set in terms of postponement ......
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Winning the final by default will not please anyone, including the Chiefs. Let's hope if the worst comes to the worst the powers that be see sense.

The lack of crowds attending does mean they can postpone if necessary. Although not for long with the International window about to open...

I’m sure Sale would have something to say if the rules are changed.Old Hob wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:26 amTV schedulers may have something to say about that.Cardiff Tig wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 9:15 am The lack of crowds attending does mean they can postpone if necessary. Re: Premiership Final hit by Covid!
Wasps have said they're cancelling all training, looking to stop further spread. I think fortunately this weekend is Euro finals so they have a gap to try and resolve things a bit see if it spreads. It's the midweek tests next week they need to get a squad ready by and for the positive tests to have stopped.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
Re: Premiership Final hit by Covid!
Not sure that Sale could say anything as their fixture was rescheduled to the Wednesday and only cancelled when they had further significant numbers of positive tests on the Tuesday.
If it is rescheduled, I would expect a similar line to be taken.

Wasps will be replaced by Bristol in the Premiership final on 24 October if a coronavirus outbreak means they cannot play, says Premiership Rugby.

For those of us who can remember the Alec Guinness film Kind Hearts and Coronets, it might feel like we only need another few teams to test positive and we might be in with a shout of being champions despite finishing 11th.OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 7:21 pm Wasps will be replaced by Bristol in the Premiership final on 24 October if a coronavirus outbreak means they cannot play, says Premiership Rugby.

Lets see who turns up for the Premiership Final next week......do not expect Wasps to come through the testing and tonights win by Bristol could make things interesting!
