The season was a year old two weeks ago?
I was referring to the last 12 months in its entirety.

Nope, we finished 11th this season, there's one space below us :smt003

Onwards and upwards. The biggest plusses for me since lockdown are Steward, Wallace and Scott.
Negatives: our ‘big’ players. Both half backs have been so out of form. For the money we’ve spent, Muri has disappointed in his last two games and I felt Van Wyk looked a bit disinterested today. I hope he can bring more of the excitement and commitment that Steward shows.
However, with a better game plan, 6th-8th is a genuine possibility next year, along with a chance in Europe as more of the better teams will be in the Champions Cup.

If you think you need to be a sports psychologist to have a basic understanding of management, leadership and motivation then you're as clueless as the Tigers leadership seem to be.
Nah it's cute that you think 4 years of negative low confidence can be fix in 2/3 months.
Firstly, it can be.

Secondly, how many of our players have been at the club for 4 years?

If Borthwick can't convince a group of very successful elite sportspeople that they are exactly that in the space of 3 months, then he isn't the right man for the job.
Many of the key guys haven’t been with us for even 3 months.

Fair enough. Happy to agree to disagree. But when you find yourself in the minority don’t start calling people liars. That’s not on.
Don’t think I’m in the minority,I just get picked out more. There’s probably 4/5 who think the same as I do.
Anyway, my last world on this is a question. Are you a parent by any chance? Because I equate being a ‘fan’ very much like being a parent. There are times when my kids don’t do what I want them to, times I don’t like them very much, times when I want to (and do) scream and shout at them. But at the end if the day, I will always love them, always stand up for them, always be there for them, always try and encourage them and yes, sometimes turn a blind eye when perhaps I should not. Because I’m a parent and that’s just what parents do.

A man up with the yellow card and we hoof it back to them. Why? We don’t have any real pace in the backs. Dombrant’s try illustrated that, only Stewart was gaining on him.

Let’s not kid ourselves. This was a very weak Quins side that should have been dealt with by half time by any decent side.

We were the worst side in 18/19 and stayed up by chance and were saved by Sarries this season. Whilst the only way is up, much has to change to think that can be possible.

Yes I am,but my love for them is in a different stratosphere than Tigers, not even close!

Well if proof was ever needed that we are wedded to playing to an appallingly anal game plan based upon kicking the ball away it was today

A grown-up response. BTW folks just to remind you, it's a game. My daughter ( a nurse) has watched people choke to death on their own lung secretions - that is real life and death. Some of the condemnatory language on here is unreal and some need to get perspective. If you don't like it, you turn off - it is entertainment. If you are still playing it is a sport.
