With Lavannini injured, Steward playing yesterday, I'd go

15 Murimurivalu
14 Van Wyk
13 Porter
12 Scott
11 Nadolo
10 Ford
9 Youngs
1 Genge
2 Youngs (c)
3 Cole
4 Wells
5 Green
6 Lewis
7 Reffell
8 Liebenberg

Replacements:

16 Mamukashvili
17 Gigena
18 Leatigaga
19 Henderson
20 Wallace
21 White
22 Henry
23 Steward

IMO our strongest team except:

Steward, give him the bench after playing yesterday

Wallace, I'd like to see Lewis given a start

Mamukashvili I'd be really tempted to give a start to, but not going to
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Game is also at Welford Road and we should never give anyone an easy ride at WR. The fortress reputation won't just come back we need to work on it. Play our best team and try to finish a dismal season on a high.

Frankly, Scarlet, I don't give a damn!

The deadist of dead rubbers. Time to shut my eyes and wait until the new season starts when sensible squads can be selected.

Sorry...... But there's only so much I can take.......and lockdown isn't helping.

I can keep the faith but only by turning my back on that which no longer matters. True supporter? Perhaps not, but I need a hopeful cause to support. This season has gone.

15 Kini Murimurivalu
14 Kobus Van Wyk
13 Guy Porter
12 Matt Scott
11 Nemani Nadolo
10 George Ford
9 Ben Youngs
1 Ellis Genge
2 Tom Youngs (c)
3 Dan Cole
4 Harry Wells
5 Callum Green
6 Sam Lewis
7 Tommy Reffell
8 Hanro Liebenberg

Replacements:

16 Jake Kerr
17 Facundo Gigena
18 Joe Heyes
19 Blake Enever
20 Luke Wallace
21 Ben White
22 Zack Henry
23 David Williams

My wish is to see Sam Lewis and Tommy Reffell play at blindside and openside- give Sam a start for the last game this season to show what he is capable of. Completely under used for this re-start - waste of a talent. Wells back at lock in the absence of Lavanini.

Rumour had Lewis either ill or with a minor injury earlier after the restart so we'll just have to see, but I agree he's one that SB hasn't seen masses of him playing yet.

Could be awaiting Covid test results or could be because be there's a number of late fitness tests due to mid week fixtures. Hopefully everyone is ok and we can wrap the season up this weekend.

The climax of the Premiership season has been thrown into chaos after an outbreak of COVID-19 amongst the players at Sale.

Sportsmail understands the club’s crucial final-round match with Worcester could be cancelled after a ‘double figure number’ of positive tests.

The league announced on Friday morning that team announcements have been delayed and PRL are now scrambling to find a solution.

I remember reading somewhere at the start of re-start, that there are stringent measures for this type of event, points deduction etc. My heart bleeds 🤣

Team announcement delay - Sale with a Covid outbreak?

Post by MurphysLaw »

It seems that Sale has 'double figure' positive Covid cases, and while PRL is scrabbling to know what to do, teams have delayed naming their sides for Sunday's games.

Double figure positive tests rather than a few suggests their training systems aren't great at stopping the spread

For the sake of the league, forfeit. I don't care if it costs Sale the Premiership they should they have had more stringent measures in place and/or more stringent obedience by the players.
