Didn’t you see Porter’s defence 2nd half??!!
Re: Team vs Saints
I agree with the rest of your team from 1-10.dunc wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 11:14 pm Guessing we go for close to the first XV. Something like this.

Ellis is unlikely to be available.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.
Re: Team vs Saints
Explain? Paternity leave, too many minutes on the pitch, p'eed off at last nights performance or injury?
When you see Sale's team sheet you wonder what clock they are on!

Re: Team vs Saints
Last update on Brink (I think in an LTTV bit) was that he's still rehabbing and wont play until the start of the 2020/21 season.

Not sure Mamu will be deemed ready, I hope he is and would love to see Muri feature in some capacity

Re: Team vs Saints
I think whatever team SB selects will likely be the one, injuries permitting that he wants to face Castres a week later

I would like to see Blake Enever have a go in the "A" teamOakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 9:54 am I think whatever team SB selects will likely be the one, injuries permitting that he wants to face Castres a week later

Re: Team vs Saints
Might be too soon for Murimurivalu potentially.
One thing that I do get from the Current Tigers team is that they do not plan to play anyone who isn't 100% in the rest of this seasons games.
So will depend how he gets on with Walters S&C.

Re: Team vs Saints
Also honestly think Henderson has earned a right to the First XV squad IMO. Maybe too soon with playing a whole 80 v Wasps.
But 0 missed tackles 11 made (Most in the squad)
Scored a nice try.
One of the few players who looked to offload in his carrying.
Stole a line out.

Agree with that, he's one who has enhanced his reputation over the last few weeks and should be around the first XV next season.RagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 1:22 pm Also honestly think Henderson has earned a right to the First XV squad IMO. Maybe too soon with playing a whole 80 v Wasps.

Re: Team vs Saints
Maybe Henderson will be our best Scottish player since Big Jim!
In all seriousness though he was good and I felt was unfairly penalised in the maul for doing something that Jack Willis had done exactly the same later in the game and was let off with (in my head that makes sense).
A class signing though by McGinty.

Re: Team vs Saints
Interesting one really this game, both teams have only won one game in the resumption and who’s 2nd choice teams have just been on the ends of 45+ points thrashings by a Top Four team. Shame there isn’t a crowd.

Re: Team vs Saints
I am quite chilled about results to date - SB rebuilding, testing his squad, development above results, preserve the squad, losing is not the end of the world but a place to learn etc etc etc
HOWEVER, the opposite applies for all Saints games. This one is all about the win.....
