To be fair I’d have taken a losing bonus point just for the confidence boost. We need to learn to manage what we have, great to see them try and play out for the win but after two or three phases when passes start going to ground and we’re going back cash your chips in.

There were a few positives in that for me, we got 3 try's past the best defense in the league, set piece was good again, replacements actually added impact again.
Personally I think if we can cut the silly errors out we will be a lot closer

Poor performance I’d say. Gave too much ball away and territory. Sale didn’t have to work too hard for points. Liebenburg was decent. Can we have Jono Ross please ?

Poor old Nemzy will have to have a warm up before he can do his warm down...

we hadn't tried to attack from there all game and clearly had no planned moves, I'm all for attacking, when in a position to do so.
LBP means nothing in terms of league position but it could mean a lot in terms of belief and moral or the squad

Was a frustrating game but it went down to the final minute and given that was 2nd vs 11th that’s says something I suppose. Especially against a full strength Sale side

Don't think Ford had a shocker - not good but certainly not a shocker. I was singing the praises of Nadolo before he came and at this moment in time, I was wrong - slow, hardly chased a thing, and looks totally out of shape. Not impressed
Hehehehehehehehe

How do you know he didn’t (talk to Lavanini)?
We all know George is best in a team playing on the front foot. If you’re being pinned in your own territory you have to kick. Not dominating them in the physical battle is where we failed today, amongst other things.

I have to admit, I’m having difficulty knowing what I’m looking at with this team.
Areas of our game - lineout, maul defence, fitness - are definitely better under the new coaches.
And at the same time, our backs play is erratic, we are shipping a staggering number of points and we’re quickly finding ourselves too far behind in games despite heroic efforts later on.
We’re almost beyond analysis.

Thanks for all the negative posts guys, still looking forward to the humble pie
If you don't go in hard it's not a tackle it's an insult.

Disagree. An LBP should be the last thing on your mind. A win is all that matters. That’s the mentality you need.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 5:00 pmwe hadn't tried to attack from there all game and clearly had no planned moves, I'm all for attacking, when in a position to do so.

Blew to much possession in their danger zone through basic handling errors and poor decision making. KIcking the ball away continues to hurt us but still persist with it. We are blunt in attack. That said we did give 100% effort and never gave up the chase.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
