Luke Wallace is proving to be a very astute signing

Noticeable that the forwards are running from deep, running hard into space and in twos and threes, rather than one out runners. Much better. Liebenberg had a strong game.

Think the starting backrow could be our best combo, it would be good to rotate Brink (if he plays like he can) & Taufua one start the other on after 55mins. Hanro is a glue type of player, you need players like that.
Reffell is a absolute menace at 7, there is a touch of Moody in his play.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Shoutout to Taufua for what I assume was his first pro stint in the second row! Did a job! :smt023

We won and showed real guts when lots of things like injuries to two locks went against the team.
No complaints about the disallowed tries though I thought Youngs was unlucky in that Sir gave it then the TMO got involved: strange as Tigers V Bath, TMO failed to spot an obvious forward pass for one of their tries!
Had that try stood then a different game would have ensued.
Don’t know why some are moaning though as the best game of this round was Bristol v Exeter. Most of the others have been as bad as ours. Now watching Saints v Bath and it’s a far worse game than ours.
I’d take a few more wins like today.
Oh and Saints now losing 15-3 to a much changed Bath team!
Well done Tigers and good luck v Gloucester.

I think the ref spoiled that game for Tigers.
Irish were offside at pretty well every ruck but it is ok if you retreat after you have prevented quick ball.
Ladygaga gets offside and it’s a penalty. Quite rightly so but offside is offside.

Tigers should have had a penalty try - our wing was shoulder charged into touch. Manu got a red for more of an attempt at a tackle.

Our centres were anonymous. Genge seemed to have decided he can run it from his own 22!

Nadolo looks a beast, shame we haven’t got Johnny May on the other wing and Manu up the middle. (Obviously we would need Sarries salary cap)

Our full back looked assured.
The injuries to the second rows stopped us from taking advantage in the scrum.

LI 7 points, fortress WR.
Good win.
Just watching Saints v Bath and even Mike Williams is making big tackles.

Who needs the rest of the rugby community against us when so many of our ‘supporters’ do nothing but crab the team.
If you can’t see progression in what we’re doing I’m not sure you’re really paying attention. Guess it’s a glass half full/half empty situation.

Pretty win? No, but a win. Endeavour for a full 80 minutes and some guys really putting their hand up for first team selection. I’d have liked the TBP as much as anyone, and that’s what we should be aiming for but we aren’t Tigers of old, we are starting from 0 (or 11th)

The only way is up.

Ben Youngs played very well, I think we took him off quite prematurely we looked pretty ropey after that.

I reckon it's keeping it going in the attrition of the league that's harder.
Tough going.

Really impressed with Reffell and Steward. Great to see the youth getting a proper go, and taking their chances. Williams looks like he could be a useful backup to have around too.

Got to say the lack of a game plan in the backs is still a major concern. 2nd half especially we looked blank after 4 or 5 phases, ending up with poor up and unders, or drop goal attempts! Not sure what Taute brings to the party either. Strong bloke but another 3 tackles missed.
