Real shame, as I was always impressed as a modern day backrow, who could cover all three roles.

He was abrasive, with pace and a good potential future captain. Unfortunate to have picked up serious injuries, while in his mid twenties and just coming to his peak, when also on the cusp of adding to his 10 international caps.

That is very sad for such a young talent

Agreed with all of the above, had what it takes to be it all, but he can still look back at having a pretty good career with Quins when all is said and done.

Rumor from 'The Ruck' , Japan supposedly a lure for Ciprianii :

https://www.ruck.co.uk/danny-cipriani-c ... ear-early/

Presently don't buy this one - currently surrounded by 'his own' people in coaching roles and things appearing to stabilize at Gloucester (at least on the surface).Again though should events ,on the results front take a turn for the worse .....
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

I'd be surprised if he went for it now (given he wouldn't leave until next summer anyway). Whether it's something they revisit next summer when the financial impact of Covid is more fully understood and Cips knows whereabouts Glaws are in the Prem standings (whether they are back competing or in a rebuild). His contract runs until 2022 when at 34 you'd expect him to look towards Japan for a chunky final payday.

Bath have signed England 7s player Will Muir.

I wonder whether any of the 7s players are of interest to our coaching team?

No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?
