Where he'll play with Laurence Pearce and be coached by Christophe Laussucq. Couple of former Tigers down in South West France. Hopefully they'll talk Tigers up to him so in a couple of years when he wants to come back and make a play for an England spot...

I personally think this is a silly move for Ibitoye, throwing away a potential England career to play for Agen?? Well the money talks...

Look at who is currently ahead of him - he isn't going to play for England in the next couple of years regardless. So why not take 2 years to earn better money and experience a different culture, then return? He isn't throwing anything away.

I don't think that the list is that long, with Kruis now overseas and Lawes often in the back row, I think he could be one injury away from the England bench given they'll be looking at building for 4 years time
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Perhaps this has substance - would certainly be a welcome and needed signing for them:

Ibitoye is a winger, Tigerfeet - are you getting mixed up with Isiekwe?

Imho unless his all round game improves dramatically, he will gain no more than the odd England cap, another Christian Wade for me.

Think it’s a good move. He’s nowhere near the England setup. Gets to experience a new lifestyle and environment and in a few years come back a better player when the likes of May, Nowell, Watson etc are ending their test careers.

Wade found his niche in rugby quickly and was far more effective than Ibitoye.
Agen is a good move for an average player with plenty of pace and lots to learn in my opinion.

I rate Ibitoye higher than Wade, obviously not the complete player but nonetheless I think he’s better in defence even though technique still has some way to go.

Ibitoye is nowhere near Wade's ability at present.
