No Dylan Hartley? He wracked up more than a year of suspensions.
I'd still have Clark top of the list. That was just pure thuggery and the citing commissioners pathetic scheduling of the ban still angers me.

Who was the Aussie player who rearranged O’Garas face on the Lions tour, I’m wanting to say McCrae but probably wrong, that was just an assault

I think Johno handed some retribution to McCrae

Butch James...brilliant player when he wasn't being a dim thug.

Duncan McRae and Clark should have been prosecuted. Also remember Schalk Burger gouging Fitzgerald amongst many other sins.
No prizes for making the link between those 3.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

For me the Burger incident was the worst of the lot, early in the 1st Test 2009 Lions if memory serves. I think the 4th official took a cursory glance, but there wasn’t even a penalty. These days a red and a lengthy ban.
Could have altered the result of the match and the series.

There is a difference between dirty & hard..
The hard men did it in plain view & took one back as well, think Messers Ryan & Richard's, the dirty ones are the cheap shot merchants, late hits etc.
Callum Clark should of been dealt with harder, sheer cowardice, he is very lucky Cockers kept his cool to some extent.
The holding of players in rucks & on floor is another example of dirty, something they get away with, but the bloke that punches them gets the card & or ban.

Johnson was found guilty of punching him. Shortly before joining Tigers White was banned for headbutting Rowntree. Big Jules was well acquainted with the club he was joining in 2003.strawclearer wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 12:13 pmThe article also notes.....JPC1983 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 10:18 am I think Johno handed some retribution to McCrae
