Happy enough with that, always rated Wallace, especially his work at the breakdown. Little surprised, based on his profile (age, skillset etc), that we didn't just decide to keep Guy Thompson?

Thompson is 4 years older, I think Tigers were concerned with the amount of injuries Guy Thompson was getting too

I've mentioned that a couple of times and just posted on the non-Tigers thread in response to a post about the Beziers buyout falling through.

Roko would fit into our squad very well. Particularly if we are moving towards power on the wing and guile in the centres again. Nadolo on one wing and Roko on the other would give us two of the best finishers in the league.

As a like for like replacement for a Thompson, you don’t get much more like for like

Good solid astute signing that will add depth to the squad without breaking the bank.

Great start to the morning!

The experienced flanker joins Tigers immediately ahead of the scheduled resumption of the 2019/20 Gallagher Premiership season.

Never heard of him, but signed for Brumbies so must have shown potential, and born in London so no foreign player issues.

This Sydney U link looks like it might be a real winner.

Not that shabby! Definite upgrades at hooker, back row, centre, equivalence elsewhere or potential plus emerging players.

Porter seems very highly rated, strong running 13 and got a spot in the Brumbies squad. Nice crop of young exciting backs at the club.

What are the other rumours?

Moroni for Manu
??? for Holmes
??? for Veainu

Happy with the Wallace signing, I know nothing about Guy Porter but he seems to be another player capable of covering several positions, he is no doubt inexpensive, will add depth to our squad and may have the potential to become a big name.

Luke Wallace. I'd rather we'd kept Guy Thompson.
