Yes sorry what I meant! I agree and would hope that would happen, but personally I don’t see how the club could justify naming him first team captain any longer.
I know that not all fans like it, but I am a fan of having co captains, or as we used to call it pack leader and head girl, gives a bit more flexibility.
Not sure if anyone else saw the recent Hurricanes game, their co captains were Coles and Perinara, but Perinara pi***d the ref off so much with his antics that the ref refused to talk to him and everything wen through Coles.
I could see Team Captain being T Youngs. Club captain being Ford with Liebenberg assistant.

I suppose one question would be if you wanted a captain who is likely to be away during international windows/games or who will be still at Welford Road all season. Both Liebenberg and Reffell fit the latter although if Reffell really kicks off, we may start losing him in a seasons time to Wales duty
One thing you can say about Tom Youngs is he gives it his all

We are lucky that we now seem to have a few captaincy options, OTY, Taufua, Reffell, Wells, Leibenberg, YBY, White and Ford all stand out to me but i'm fairly sure OTY will remain captain for nowhappywomble wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 9:52 pm I suppose one question would be if you wanted a captain who is likely to be away during international windows/games or who will be still at Welford Road all season. Wonder if Nemani's younger brother might end up here, he was at Montepellier with Namani but I'm not sure if he's stayed behind

Think there's rumours about him being Scottish qualified so wouldn't take an overseas spot...Mark62 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 8:57 amTake Will Jordan in a heartbeatRagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 8:52 am Any super rugby back 3 players who are impressing currently?

Most promising young winger in NZ signs for Tigers because an extra ten grand a year and the prospect of representing Scotland was too exciting to turn down.
