It was a poor show to leak all the players leaving to the press, I think we are well beyond that now.

You could well be right. My overall feeling on the squad is relief that we now have clarity and whether or not JT goes it could have been far worse. Time to watch all the other clubs with interest..Tigerbeat wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 7:55 amSaints are likely to face issues in the coming months as they have only signed their players on 12 month contracts with a 10% pay reduction.....awkward discussions to follow!TA30 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 7:45 am In case not seen, Jan McGinity responded directly to Alex Lowe's tweet of taufua also leaving the club, saying 'I wouldn't believe everything you read in the media!'
So the club are confident Jordan is staying - hopefully a confirmed squad list and details of extensions will be announced in the coming days as saints have done.
I thought Andrea was impressive as a business leader last night. Hopefully an investor or 2was watching.

I wonder if it was a certain Mrs V who was in his ear about how nice it would be living in France.MCC1964 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 8:28 amWell, if the reports on earlier threads are true then it seems that Mrs V at least is very about the situation, so who knows what some people may do under these circumstances in the heat of the moment. Time will tell I guess.

Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Couldn't possibly be. It's the club who are only interested in money, Mrs V has no interest in material things and only wants people to nice to her husband.TigerBoy1880 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 8:30 amI wonder if it was a certain Mrs V who was in his ear about how nice it would be living in France.

More likely;
Heffernan
Dunbar
Homer
Don't know a backrow out of contract.
Sotutu is EQ though isn't he? Maybe England could help us out.

By the sounds of it we might have a Borthwick, Murphy and McGinity interview coming up will be interesting.
Steve sounds like he has a plan already.

I am disappointed in the conduct of some of the players or their agents (family) but we should bear in mind the old saying never meet your hero's.
Modern media perhaps brings us too close so we can see the people behind the image, it is not always a pretty sight.
Being a great rugby player does not make you a nice person, a certain Mr Back was not admired as a person but he was and always will be a great of the game and that is all we should ask for!

Well obviously, I was thinking more to those who thought he wouldn't have a chance without those players.longlivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 9:00 amYou'd hope so!RagingBull wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 8:58 am Was thinking Taufua.

I'm going to start a new thread once all this is officially done with, and the players are off the squad page.
