I think you’re taking things altogether far too seriously chap.RichieB wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 10:45 amWhat does 'going woke' mean? I looked on Google and the only suggestion given doesn't make any sense in the context used.Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 10:35 am“Disrespectful”? Give over - you’re going woke. Maybe he only arrived in country a couple of days ago, and god forbid maybe there’s a plan for announcing new arrivals.RichieB wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 9:50 am
If it was Potter who was pictured at Victoria Park it seems farcical that the club say nothing. Particularly when the photo taken by one of the club's own players. It feels a little disrespectful to those supporters who are currently hanging on every news bulletin, journalist report and rumour. It is only out of concern for the club and the desperate hope for a brighter future.

Enever was recently released by the Brumbies due to 'personal reasons'. Comes here with a pretty good pedigree, not seen much of him myself, but an international who is available all season is what we need.

Not another international player? What will people have to complain about?RagingBull wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 11:03 am Well if he’s the international quality lock then I will just say typical
Hopefully a solid signing.

Curious. He was released from the Brumbies contract to be closer to his family in Queensland?

Still, will see how he goes in a Tigers shirt

I suppose what a club releases and reality might not always be the same thing.happywomble wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 11:08 am Curious. He was released from the Brumbies contract to be closer to his family in Queensland?

Green, Enever, Wells, hopefully Lavanini too? That’s not a bad set of frontline locks.
With Chessum, Henderson, Martin and Manz waiting in the wings, I think we’re ok. Lavanini going would be a bit of a blow.

Who knows what other signings are to come. He could be a cut priced replacement for Lavanini with AN Other lock coming in who wasn't originally earmarked as a replacement for Lavinini in the first instance (if that makes any kind of sense at all....)Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 11:15 amI suppose what a club releases and reality might not always be the same thing.happywomble wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 11:08 am Curious. Any new signing from abroad dont forget if they are going to start next Weds should do been in the UK last Weds, if the wizard winger was seen out & about he must of been here longer one hopes.
Very ironic that Taufua & Ladygaga have to isolate for 14 days.

Laetigaga certainly left about a week ago, so hopefully they won’t be too long. Worth remembering we could have a 4 or 5 month preseason this year, given the Sarries situation.Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 11:28 am Any new signing from abroad dont forget if they are going to start next Weds should do been in the UK last Weds, if the wizard winger was seen out & about he must of been here longer one hopes.

Could be him they've been waiting on. Given he was signed for the 2020 season and that is only due to start in Australia it could have been a while before he got here. Negotiating an early exit should allow him and his family get here quicker and be more beneficial to us.happywomble wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 11:08 am Curious. Enever seems to be viewed by some as perhaps being a cut price deal which is fine by me as the big names ain't been all that where it matters most on the pitch, IMVHO.

Looking at the Murphy comments, he may be a bit of a Dave Ewers/Mike Williams style 2nd/back row. Good solid and hard player available all year.
