Gigena has also been named in the Puma's training squad, but down as contracted to Tigers still. Good call up for him!

Re: Where is Gigena
Well deserved. He has really developed in a good prop for us. Not in the new school carries like a backrower way but at the scrum and in the tight where it matters. Think he'll go well with the Pumas. Lavanini is unsurprisingly called up as well.happywomble wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 5:03 pm Gigena has also been named in the Puma's training squad, but down as contracted to Tigers still. Re: Where is Gigena
IF Gigena gets called up for the main squad we will need to sign another Loosehead.

Senior options are;RagingBull wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 8:44 pm IF Gigena gets called up for the main squad we will need to sign another Loosehead.
LH: Genge, Gigena, Balmain
TH: Cole, Heyes, Leatigaga
Leatigaga covering both sides certainly helps. I'd say that unless a couple of the development lads are pulling up trees we could do with another senior prop. If the Logo rumours were to happen that would be ideal. With Leatigaga able to play both sides we could probably get away with acquiring another tighthead though I guess Dimen is probably the most physically mature of the development props so you're right a loosehead would be the best bet. Might be a good Championship pick up going.
Re: Where is Gigena
Bateman not Balmain there Sam!
Mulipola would slot into the squad well covering both sides.
Congratulations to Gigena. He's effectively replaced Santiago Garcia Botta in that training squad. Chapparo is an excellent player in the starting shirt but talented youngster Mayco Vivas who benched at the RWC could be challenged by Gigena I think.
Lucas Nogeura Paz's career has really taken a downturn since moving to Bath.
