Probably. Still more effort than most suppliers have made.Cagey Tiger wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 7:00 pmI think that your inclusion of next season's kit is pushing it a tadsam16111986 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 6:40 pm Taken from the press release;
"Leicester Tigers supporters will also be able to get their hands on a variety of Samurai products at a special pre-launch event held during the club’s Derby Day fixture against Northampton Saints on the weekend of May 15. "
Now there not doing something as radical as having next season's kit and associated items ready before the end of the season?

Re: New Kit
Like that idea! The press release also states that they will be the official provider from July 1 so no chance of having the new kit ready for the last game like they used to do back in the Canterbury days.

I reckon the green will be all wrong for starters. And at least one hoop will be the wrong dimension.
We probably will be stuck with raglan sleeves though, which is a genuine shame.

Excellent. There’s 4 months of moaning material before July 1st!

It will, if course, be prohibitively expensive. Goes without saying.

It's not Cotton Traders, who are the best and who we should go back to....tigerssteve wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 8:09 amHot_Charlie wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 11:06 pmForum.

Re: New Kit
I thought we left Cotton Traders because they no longer wanted to make professional level rugby shirts. Only the traditional heavy cotton types as part of their clothing range. I don't think going back is an option.WhitecapTiger wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 7:31 pmIt's not Cotton Traders, who are the best and who we should go back to....tigerssteve wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 8:09 amHot_Charlie wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 11:06 pm

Re: New Kit
We really need a sarcasm emoji on here..... I wasn't being serious, I know that CT turned their back on rugby, there is not going back. That doesn't stop the incessant moaning about any subsequent kit manufacturer not being CT (I liked Ct as much as many by the way)sam16111986 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 7:34 pmI thought we left Cotton Traders because they no longer wanted to make professional level rugby shirts. Re: New Kit
Actually, in this respect, Samurai are very good. I think this comes under the club having more control; IIRC Sale and Exeter are about the cheapest in the Prem.tigerssteve wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 8:09 amHot_Charlie wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 11:06 pmForum.

Re: New Kit
I think I saw the programme sellers with tigers samurai tops on. Maybe starting a bit early for some sections of the club??
Re: New Kit
I think off-the-field staff and ballboys have been wearing Samurai since the start of the season.

From this tweet it seems the Retail Team are doing their best to try and get a new kit launch around the 15th May.

Re: New Kit
I have also emailed the club asking as to whether they could start selling academy replica kits as a helpful financial boost in the current climate.

Re: New Kit
Agreed: I think most of us older fans would really like the Academy shirts to be our first team kit: obviously we couldn’t have the letters on the back!
I still mostly wear my very old Tigers shirt with short sleeves and the old crest on to home games and my bright green, red and white Superdry to away games! I also wish I’d never got rid of my 2000-2001 player quality shirt ( I wore it out) even though I was too hot in it in Paris so wore a Tigers’ Paris Final T Shirt once inside the ground. What great kit.

Re: New Kit
I'd buy the academy shirt straight away. Unfortunately the last one I have in those colours is covered in paint as its a DIY top nowadays....
