Aaron Hinckley to Chiefs finally confirmed. Great signing by Baxter. In the Chiefs set-up I wouldn't be surprised if Hinckley starts pushing the England training squads.

6.Ewers 7.Armand 8.Kvesic

Evolving to:

6.Vermuelen 7.Hinckley 8.Simmonds

The Exeter set-up and recruitment is really impressive.

Season-long loan before returning back to Sarries.

Two very good young players who no doubt will be in the England squads for the next decade. Obviously didn’t want to jeopardise that by playing in the championship. But surprised any club would want to take them on loan rather than push for permanent deals.

Depends. Bristol might have their eyes on some signings next summer and might have been considering keeping some players who didn't really have a future at the club for next season or sign some short term cover. Instead they've got in some excellence to cover next season so they can trim away. Malins coming in makes sense with Protheroe and Madigan both supposed to be off. His style is similar to that of Sheedy as well so it's a continuation, they've got a young Welsh 10 coming through well there as well so he might be seen as the answer but needs a little longer to develop. Backrow they've been linked with a lot of 7s so Earl plugs that gap for at least a season.

Singleton signs for Gloucester..... on loan. Guess that’s why we didn’t want him. Can’t blame Tigers.

The idea of developing and enhancing a player for anther club to take back is really something that we should not get involved in unless there is an awfully good reason.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Carre (Cardiff), Lamositele (Montpellier), Figallo, Kruis (Japan), Skelton (La Rochelle), Kpoku (Saints), Rhodes, Clark
Wigglesworth, Spencer (Bath), Lozowski (Bath), Lewington, Gallagher (Munster)

Some rumours, some confirmed by clubs and others confirmed leaving by player themselves.

Maitland is out of contract this summer as well. Apparently he was offered to Edinburgh and Glasgow mid-season when Sarries were trying to cut cap but neither could afford him.

Duncan Taylor was also offered to Edinburgh and Glasgow mid-season with the same effect. He's out of contract next summer so may not be with Sarries when they come back up.

I've not been sympathetic to Sarries at all in this situation but it's a very long list of leavers.

The ones going out on loan are probably nothing to do with the salary cap. They could probably stay at Sarries and the players who are permanently leaving should get them below the cap. However, some players won't want to play in the Championship, but Sarries want to keep them, so they get loaned out for a season to keep playing in the Premiership. The fact that this reduces Sarries wage bill next season is an added bonus for Sarries.

Sorry, not explained very well, but it's the best that I can come up with.
