At 6'4" and 19yrs of age and in the England Age Grade mix, Steward looks an exciting prospect at full back. Holmes will get plenty of opportunity as players like Steward need bringing on gradually, always good to have competition for a shirt.

On the tigers twitter someone asked if there would be any more announcements this week and the tigers twitter response was: maybe :smt002

Make of that what you will.

Anyone else think that the club are upping their game a little with the social media account? It's still not anywhere near where Bristol, for example, are, but it's definitely better than it has been.

I guess the wing signing confirms that May is going?

I hope not as it would be good to have a speedster on one wing and a juggernaught on the other a bit like the days of Alessana and Varndell.

I hope not too. His development in the last couple of years has been excellent but a tough call in terms of value for money since England duties curtail club availability so much.

Yes, I think they may be getting dragged screaming and kicking into the 21st century! Certainly not before time :smt017

Geordan excited about Nadolo signing and when asked about Johnny May situation stated that it is difficult to keep everyone due to the salary cap but said that when he gets back from England duty would “ lock him in a room until he signs “ :smt003

Reading between the lines, he’s re-signed or pretty much re-signed then!

The issue for Jonny May is that he does not have many options if he wishes to continue playing for England.
Sarries is no longer an option.
Quins was talked about but looks like Ashton may have taken that spot.
A return to Gloucester seems unlikely as they can not afford him.
Options are to take a pay cut or go abroad and end your England career.
It looks more likely that he will stay in my opinion but nothing can be guaranteed.
