Neither T.Youngs nor Polota-Nau have pulled up trees this season and both have had major issues at the line out, so I'm surprised Kerr hasn't really featured. Perhaps the scrummaging strength of the other hookers is going against him.

Taf does have his lineout problems. Tom Y has been pretty consistent apart from the Saints game and in that match Kerr when he came on did not improve things. I still rate him a good prospect though.

He does appear to have good potential, but those 2 lineouts thrown to no one against Saints, which directly led to 2 tries, were terrible, I wonder if that match has counted against him? He has also showed some defensive weaknesses.johnthegriff wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 6:40 pm Taf does have his lineout problems. The line-out is down to the systems, coaching and lack of confidence rather than the hookers alone IMO. Hopefully as wins come that confidence will improve and the systems will as well.
I honestly think the line-out has been better since Bakewell left and Brett took over. That might be the dead cat bounce that we saw when Bakewell arrived though - I think Brett is a very promising coach but also a young one.
Youngs and TPN have 121 international caps, a winning Lions tour, selection for 3 RWC squads, a rugby world cup final appearance and goodness knows how many club accolades. They have had brilliant careers, Youngs is a club legend and both are top blokes. Their automatic selection regardless of form is frustrating though.

Likely just poor journalism but that report makes it sound as if he is coming now rather than next season? ie: 'Ford being away for 2020 six nations?baz1664 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:03 pm https://www.ruck.co.uk/rugby-transfer-r ... -fly-half/

Buw JM's move to Sarries seems to be off he is now rumoured to be returning to Glaws - https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/rug ... er-3744111
Hehehehehehehehe

I think that was always the original rumour, then Sarries dropped into the mix. Interestingly, so did Louis Rees-Zammit so it's one to watch, that's for sure.trendylfj wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:05 am Buw JM's move to Sarries seems to be off he is now rumoured to be returning to Glaws - https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/rug ... er-3744111

Tom Ellis has signed a 2 year extension at Bath

Although as the rumour is from rugby inside line he probably just read it on this forum yesterday.OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 8:58 amThat’s how I read it too, inbound shortly.. looks like a good prospect either wayfentiger wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 7:57 amLikely just poor journalism but that report makes it sound as if he is coming now rather than next season? ie: 'Ford being away for 2020 six nations?baz1664 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:03 pm https://www.ruck.co.uk/rugby-transfer-r ... -fly-half/

Would be an interesting move for him to return to Glaws, one of the few clubs he would have to fight for a starting spottrendylfj wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:05 am Buw JM's move to Sarries seems to be off he is now rumoured to be returning to Glaws - https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/rug ... er-3744111
