Exeter v Sarries

Post by markharbtiger »

Exeter on the point of beating Sarries with the latter held (so far) to zero with only minutes left. Julian Salvi coaching Exeter’s defence: Oh Leicester what might have been!

I thought that the officiating of the offside looked shocking all round.
Get a few HIA's when WB is in charge!

I don't believe Tigers will be vying for the drop with Sarries at the end of the season but I'm still pleased to see the gap between us widen this weekend!

So who will Sarries be vying with for the drop then? :smt002

At least he gave a penalty against Saffas for pulling the jumper’s arm, unlike our official yesterday, despite it being virtually identical.

What Exeter have in Spades over us is clarity of purpose and they all play for each other enthusiastically. If we can utilise Tafaua's leadership and passion, we can get out of this poo.

Yes he missed plenty else though.
If we want to be picky then Isiekwe was played whilst still in the air at the line out at the end of the first half, but that maul was as clear a case for collapsing by Exeter as you're ever likely to see leading to the maul splintering and George being held up.
I've seen Leicester penalised and get yellow cards for almost identical.
There is just no consistency at all.
