All I want for Christmas
For mw, Peter Tom, Tom Cohen and Geordan to fall on their swords and quit the club.
Today we were in control and then after half time we were a bunch of poorly coached players who had no obvious game plan. Ford needs to practice restarts to give our players a chance to compete for the ball.

The restarts in the first half worked fine. Kick chase in the second half just lacked intensity.WiggoTiger wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 5:33 pm For mw, Peter Tom, Tom Cohen and Geordan to fall on their swords and quit the club.

Can you imagine the mess we'd be in if all the management left as you suggest. The club would literally fall apart. The lack of sensible succession planning has been our downfall and pointless gestures won't help that.
Re: All I want for Christmas
For me, I want the coaches to walk into the board room and tell them to find a brand new coaching set up. They dont need to leave immediately, because there would be panic, but it frees them up to hire anyone they want, not someone who has to slide into an existing set up.
I then want someone to bid for the club and succeed. And then stamp their mark on it. A new CEO, new commercial direction and fully support the club both off the pitch and on it. And I dont mean just paying up to the cap, but a quality, experienced coaching set up;
likewise for the conditioning and medical team; and finally get that improved training ground.

Makes the club easier to shift if the existing coaching set up is in a good place.RagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 5:53 pm Yes have the guys who are wanting to leave find a new coaching team.

Does it really?
In most cases the new owners tend to want their people in.

Re: All I want for Christmas
All I want for Christmas is for someone in a position of power to accept that Geordan is miles out of depth and to acknowledge that the club's blind faith in him maybe somewhat misplaced. Then I'd like them to do something about it.
I saw Marika Vunibaka play

A win at Quins and some certainty on Borthwick one way or the other. Please.

... Murphy to show his love for Tigers, not by persevering when he's presided over the worst Tigers team in our long history, but by recognizing it's time to walk away.

..... Is people to realise that we need stability and a long term plan. Yet another change of head coach would cause chaos for the players. George Ford to vary the restarts so the opposition cant make the same play on every one. Referees to be consistent and all treat the same situations the same way.

Re: All I want for Christmas
is decisive and positive decision(s)-
1. on the sale of the club
2. the structure of, and, the personnel required for the coaching staff
3. the pitch during games
Merry Christmas.
