Makes sense if Borthwick is coming, there's not going to be much of a job left for a largely ineffective forwards coach. Standing in Deacon who has contributed basically nothing in his time as a coach isn't great news though.

Give the job to Brett Deacon who is very well qualified to do the job after all he is
another Ex Tiger with didly squat experience .

No wonder our great club is on its knees simply beggars belief.

What are you on it’s interim.

What you think tigers should pay a lot of money to bring in someone for potentially a few or so weeks?

Yeh right, please do you have any idea as to what he is paid and how long he will be in the job? If so please tell us?

Well the money will no doubt stay the same, just like it did when he did an interim job for the defence a few seasons ago.
I don't know how long.

Now yes I would be annoyed about Deacon if it was the full time role, but to bring in a new coach who will bring in his new techniques etc which take time to develop only to have someone to come in to replace all that stuff, seems a very short sighted idea, which I guess would suit the BOD decisions

So can you please confirm that you require a forwards coach for a few weeks, instead of presenting guesswork as fact.

I've presented anything, guesswork or otherwise! Just having a chuckle at the ongoing rumour mill.

I too would appreciate some notification from the club but (as I've just stated on Twitter) that isn't going to happen and doesn't happen in business for a number of different reasons.

If I don't laugh mate, I'll cry. We are all in despair, as we all support this (once) great club, but until the powers that be decide what they are doing we can't do a great deal can we?

If this is true, then surely the Club owe it to everyone involved to make an official announcement. This would clarify things and halt false rumours.
Unless, Bakewell has just suddenly up and left and taken everyone by surprise.

Proves how much I know as I thought Borthwick is to be the new head coach with Murphy getting promoted yet again on a whim to Director of Rugby ? Why would he leave England as a forwards coach just to be forwards coach at Tigers?
