True. We could have got Craig Maxwell Keyes or Ian Tempest.chewbacca wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 4:16 pmCould be worse. Probably.voice of the crumbie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 4:15 pmDid you have to spoil what has so far been a good week?

Re: London Irish vs Tigers
if Genge feels ready to play get him back in the team, the rest of the England boys will get the next couple of weeks off but Genge doesn't really need it
Re: London Irish vs Tigers
I imagine he's champing at the bit!Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 6:09 pm if Genge feels ready to play get him back in the team, the rest of the England boys will get the next couple of weeks off but Genge doesn't really need it

I have no doubt Genge is chomping at the bit, it’ll depend on how well he adjusts to the jet lag. But Bateman and Gigena have been playing well too.

Fingers crossed the Irish cavalry hasn't arrived by Sunday, the squad they put out v Sarries looks very beatable; no Naholo, O'Brien, Coleman, Veitokani, Phipps, Campbell or Mafi.
Re: London Irish vs Tigers
Unless new signings are injured, I would imagine the Aussie signings and Veitokani could feature.

Re: London Irish vs Tigers
Geordan Murphy confirms that Telusa Veianu has been stood down for a HIA and won’t be available for the game this weekend against London Irish. Kyle Eastmond has a calf problem and won’t be available and both Tommy Reffell and Will Spencer will be unavailable.
Jordan Taufua in a Tigers shirt?
Murphy: “Pretty soon. We want to get him involved as quickly as we can, along with Tomas Lavinini. The best time to integrate people is in match environments, so he’ll travel with the 23 this weekend”
What’s the contact you’ve had with the England players?
Murphy: “They landed on Tuesday and I’ve given them a week off. We expect to see them next Tuesday or Wednesday and we’ll make an assessment from there about who will feature against Pau”

Murphy on his best back row: “I know my best 3. They all give you something different which is great, but how that fits together will take a little bit of trial and error. It gives us permutations to play with in training to get the style right”
Interesting given that Kalamafoni, Thompson, Taufua and Liebenberg are all class players. Kalamafoni player very well last weekend so wonder which one drops to the bench.

Re: London Irish vs Tigers
is Reid fit he went off with a calf problem last week?
not sure I want Forsyth playing at 13 either made all his tackles but I don't remember him doing much in attack
