I understand that but my statement still stands.

We have still got that unknown French guy, we could see if he's any good.

I believe it's the Gloucester home game he is available from.

Regarding Ben Youngs salary, interesting fact that he isn’t even in the Top ten premierships top earners , that fact took me surprise♂️

He looks rather good in that shirt!
Now if Marcos can just persuade Matera to come back....
To win is not as important as playing with style!

I have a feeling Bristol will be after Genge, props are their weakest positions at present and we need to do our best to retain him, starting by actually winning some games.

Genge will be off if Briz have room in their cap for him, he's West Country to the core and they're a breed unto themselves over there. Can't say he didn't try his best for us but what's the point being away from home for a team that plays as badly as we do.

He may go, but I doubt that it would be back to Brizzle. Yet. His reasons for leaving Bristol were to do with the city and people that he knew there, nothing to do with the club itself. Based on his comments in his interview on Rugby Tonight last season, the reasons he left are still applicable. But, yes, he would like to go back at some point later in the future.CitizenSmiff wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 10:35 am Genge will be off if Briz have room in their cap for him, he's West Country to the core and they're a breed unto themselves over there. Ben is not one of the Marquee players so is bound to be outside probably the top 20 earners.
Two marquee players allowed per team.

Report in today's DT that Toronto Wolfpack - having signed Sonny Boy Williams - are looking to sign Manu. Manu's in contract with us until June '21 apparently but TW seem to have plenty of financial clout. It's also claimed they are after Ben Two. They're welcome to him!
